Becki Griswold

Becki is the co-owner of White Whale and a graduate of University of Cincinnati. Becki manages the shop and the booking and runs a tight ship in hopes to provide the best tattoo experience for all of our guests. Becki takes photos and writes poetry in her spare time. 

Zack Mueller (AKA Zapmeister) is an award-winning graphic designer & illustrator, now in his first year as a professional tattooist. Zack is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College of DAAP, with a BS in Design. He began his career in branding, where he led creative efforts & contributed breakthrough design thinking for several international brands. Zack’s work has appeared in Communication Arts, Graphis, The Dieline, Bloomberg Business Week & on supermarket shelves around the world. Zack is currently pursuing a career as a tattooist, where he enjoys using his design background to create truly memorable & bespoke experiences for his clients. Zack lives in Covington KY with his wife, Sherry, & their cats Lemon & Storm.

Emily Sites Karns is a born maker, creator, and explorer. Emily received her BFA from the Design, Architecture, Art and Planning program at the University of Cincinnati with a concentration in metal working and printmaking in 2010. She has since been producing and sharing public works of art from murals, to installations, to painting. Along side of her own craft, she also curates and works hand-in-hand with printmaster, Mark Patsfall, at the Clay Street Press publishing works of art from all ends of the earth. Emily is an avid adventurer, always on the look out for the little things that speak loudly to the creative spirit in us all.
